If you’ve been dreaming of making it to Art Basel this year but nearly gave up after seeing hotel prices… this might help.
Every June, we host the Basel Art Summer Camp — a week-long series of art events, workshops, collector conversations, studio-style gatherings, dinners and creative meetups that run alongside the fair. Over the last thee years, BASC has become a kind of home base for artists, curators, collectors, founders, students and art lovers looking for a more personal and community-driven way to experience Basel during art week.
One thing we hear from visitors every single year?
People have flights ready, plans made and invitations lined up… but accommodation costs stop them from coming and it's impossible to find any type of room during Art Basel.
So this year, one of the wonderful community leaders in our extended art family is offering a room in her apartment from 15–21 June to help someone make their Basel trip happen. And as the BASC organizing team, we're covering the rent. So you get a free stay in Basel for up to 5 nights!
The apartment is located just a 5-minute walk from St. Johann, making it an ideal base for navigating the city during Art Basel week.
